Mississippi Veterinary Ophthalmology Specialists is a veterinary practice specializing in the treatment of eye diseases of domestic animals. Our services are provided at various locations in Mississippi and Alabama, and we are the first such specialty practice in the Mississippi-Alabama Gulf Coastal region. It is our goal to provide the highest standard and availability of veterinary eye care to pets in Mississippi and Alabama.

Mississippi Veterinary Ophthalmology Specialists was founded in 2007 by Dr. Laurence Galle, a native of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Dr. Galle is a graduate of Mississippi State University, and completed ophthalmology residency training at the University of Missouri-Columbia. He is board-certified through the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists, and served as a faculty ophthalmologist at Auburn University and at the University of Missouri-Columbia before returning to South Mississippi to start the first veterinary ophthalmology practice in the area.
